Artist trading cards have become very popular. While surfing the Internet and viewing some of those gorgeous creations, I thought it would be fun to create them incorporating my medium of choice....BEADS!

I suggested the idea to my favorite online forum All About Beads, and several of the members joined me in my excitement.

Just like standard Artist Trading Cards, Bead Artist Trading Cards must measure
2 ½ X 3 ½ inches. They should be created on or backed with some type of sturdy material to help them hold up over time. The only other rule that sets them apart from regular ATC's is that they must have at least one bead incorporated into the design. Then they will officially become a BATC (Bead Artist Trading Card).

Just gather together your beady friends and suggest the idea. It's a great way to collect pieces of beadwork from across the world, and a great way to connect with other beaders.
